Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least one year of recent experience in server and networking administration, particularly in managing virtual server environments. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with HyperV, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Apache, and comprehensive knowledge of network operations and maintenance. Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of various network devices and protocols. Applicants must successfully pass a thorough background check.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or other applicable field
- One year of recent server administration and/or networking administration experience that includes managing a virtual server environment
Desired Qualifications
- Recent experience with HyperV, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Apache technologies
- Knowledge of network operations, support, maintenance, and administration
- Working knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VoIP, NAT, VPN, IIS, access points, mobile devices
- Recent CompTIA Server and/or Microsoft Certified Professionals certification
