Job Summary

Technical sales engineer to support Thermal Management in Japan, providing engineering support, Bill of Quantity, technical proposals, tender submissions, and installation design for Thermal Management systems. Responsibilities include writing technical proposals and drawings, generating BOQs and technical specifications, configuring product and FAT, supporting marketing events, delivering product training to sales and partners, and providing account management assistance to consultants, contractors, and end users to win bids. Collaboration with the Asia Product Team on Go-To Market programs, NPDI, and product training for pre/post sales teams. Requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, strong HVAC/thermal expertise, 5 years in data center facilities/thermal/AHU sales and marketing, and effective communication and presentation skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of Thermal Management specifically in HVAC products
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Data Center Facility, Thermal and Air Conditioning, Product Sales & Marketing
  • Experience in data center design will be added advantages
  • Learning agility and the ability to stay abreast of trends and strategic landscape
  • Strong communication, teamwork attributes to work with sales and various stakeholders in the organization
  • Good presentation skills to both customers and internal employees
