Job Summary
Local Route Driver to load, secure, and deliver automotive parts between Auto-Wares stores, distribution centers, or warehouses in the Charlevoix area. Position includes operating a company-provided vehicle with a gas card, conducting vehicle inspections, supporting warehouse tasks, handling returns and inventory transfers, and representing Auto-Wares professionally in internal interactions. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, full-time with rotating weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be at least 21, and able to lift up to 50 lbs; background check and drug screen required. Prior delivery/drive experience, time-management and teamwork skills, and comfort working in hot or cold environments are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have had valid license for a minimum of 2 years
- No major violations
- No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, and in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
- No more than one at-fault accident
- Must be at Least 21 Years of Age
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
