Local P&D Driver (Class B)

Job Summary
Operate a Class B CDL Straight Truck to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, check gauges, and secure cargo; may perform dock loading/unloading and customer-site service; utilize in-cab technology and electronic logs; maintain records; adhere to safety and regulatory requirements and drive across various terrains and schedules; physical ability to lift ~70 lbs and pass medical/drug tests; Hazmat endorsement recommended; provide professional customer service and work with Fleet Services to address maintenance needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age if going interstate
- Valid Class B or Class A CDL
- Registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment
- Air brake endorsement if equipped with air brakes
- Stable employment history preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle)
- Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs
- Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs
- Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- English reading/writing proficiency
- Must be able to drive all routes in all terrains
- Must comply with company policies and safety rules
- Drug screen and background check required
- Authorized to work in the United States
