Job Summary
Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company safety rules; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, manage paperwork, logs, and secure cargo; may perform dock loading/unloading and loading/unloading freight; respond to maintenance issues and follow safety protocols; customer-facing with emphasis on safe, timely transportation and adherence to regulations; requires Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, drug/alcohol clearinghouse registration, English proficiency, and ability to pass medical and road tests; physically demanding with lifting up to 70 lbs and various environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age or older with FMCSA regulations
- Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- Must be able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs and handle physical demands described
