Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain required records, and ensure safety and security of equipment and cargo. May dock-load/unload freight, use in-cab technology and electronic logs, and work various schedules based on business needs. Must hold a Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker if applicable, pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and meet physical requirements to handle up to 70 lbs. Requires good English reading/comprehension, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to travel/drive across diverse terrains. Reside within 75 miles of the service center or work assignment in the US. Must comply with all company policies and FMCSA rules; prior forklift operation capability and stable employment history are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- Must be able to drive tractor-trailer per FMCSA requirements
- Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and perform physical demands as described
