Job Summary
Local P&D Driver (Class A) responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations, including pre-trip/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, and potential dock/loading duties. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker and Doubles endorsements, complete required logs and reports, and be able to operate in various terrains and weather conditions. Role may include over-the-road assignments and variable schedules based on business needs; operates in a safety-conscious, customer-service oriented environment. Physical ability to lift 70 lbs, pass medical and road tests, meet English-language requirements, and maintain compliant MVR. Requires 21+ years old, stable employment history preferred, and compliance with drug testing and background checks; authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- 75 miles resident of domiciled Service Center/work assignment
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- ability to drive tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements
- read/write English at a level sufficient for FMCSA requirements
- pre-employment drug screen, background check
