Job Summary
Operate a tractor-trailer to safely transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage records, and ensure secure cargo, including hazardous materials. May perform dock loading/unloading and utilize in-cab electronic logs. Requires HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements, valid Class A CDL, FMCSA clearance, medical and road tests, English proficiency, and ability to lift ~70 lbs. Willingness to work varied schedules and potentially over-the-road travel as needed within business requirements. Must reside within 75 miles of the service center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- HazMat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Doubles endorsement
- Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment
- Must pass FMCSA medical exam
- Must pass road test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift ~70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
