Job Summary
LTAC RN provides quality patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care setting, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Responsibilities include dispensing medications and managing devices such as chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines; monitoring patient status; and giving guidance and supervision to clinical support staff. Shift: 3x12 nights. Located in Saddle Brook/Jersey City area, NJ; role emphasizes patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation to ensure optimum outcomes and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing license/licensure in state of practice
- Experience in LTAC or critical care nursing preferred
- Ability to monitor and manage ventilators, chest tubes, wound vacs, IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines
