Job Summary
The Local Grants Manager administers, coordinates, and oversees cybersecurity grant programs to support local governments and eligible entities. Responsibilities include managing the full grant lifecycle (program development, application review, funding recommendations, award notices, grant agreements), ensuring alignment with Florida Digital Service priorities and funding requirements, providing technical assistance to applicants, and monitoring compliance and performance. The role involves collaboration with cybersecurity professionals, local government officials, vendors, and funding partners; developing policies, procedures, guidance documents, and application requirements; and coordinating stakeholder engagement, trainings, and workshops. The position also covers program performance, strategic planning, and identifying funding opportunities to strengthen cybersecurity resilience across the state. Preferred qualifications emphasize federal cybersecurity grant experience, knowledge of CSF/CIS Controls, project management, compliance monitoring, and supervisory experience.
