Local Flatbed Truck Driver (CDL Class A)

Job Summary
Check shipment security, maneuver equipment in tight areas, and drop or spot trailers while backing trucks into docks, shipping/receiving areas, and job sites. Inspect vehicles for defects before and after trips, ensuring trucks remain roadworthy through service, maintenance, and inspections. Contact the Transportation Manager for maintenance approvals, review permits and registrations, and refuse loads if documentation is incorrect or expired. Maintain all DOT logs, licenses, and medical certificates, and alert management immediately if the fuel card fails or is lost. Adhere to all Comfort Systems USA policies and complete required road tests and motor vehicle reports.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
- at least 2-years driving experience
- Must pass a road test given by a current EAS driver
- Subject to Motor Vehicle Report to meet the EAS Driver Policy standards
- minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
