Job Summary
ER RNs provide immediate, specialized care for patients with life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include recording symptomology and patient history, assessing and planning care, coordinating with the healthcare team, triage interventions, assisting physicians with exams, diagnostic testing, treatments, and administering/recording prescribed medications. Strong emphasis on collaboration, vigilance during emergencies, and timely execution of care plans during night shifts. Proficiency in documentation and patient safety protocols is expected.
