Job Summary
Operate dump trucks locally in North Alabama on the night shift to transport materials safely and efficiently. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs of driving hours and materials transported, load and unload as needed, and communicate with team members and supervisors. Adhere to traffic laws and company policies, ensure vehicle safety, report issues promptly, and keep the truck and work area clean and organized. Knowledge of local roads is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
