Job Summary
Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently, ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs while adhering to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions. Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays, and any issues that may arise during transportation. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns. Be the face of TForce Freight delivering a positive, helpful, and professional attitude to our customers.
Required Qualifications
- Impeccable customer service and dedication
- Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in resident state
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- 21 years of age
- Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
- Able to read, write and speak the English language
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time managements skills
