Job Summary
Conduct deliveries, pickups, loading, and unloading while maintaining logs and records per regulations. Operate company equipment and forklifts using established safety procedures, always utilizing defensive driving techniques and following traffic laws. Inspect trucks, record issues, and report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel. Keep the vehicle clean, medical certificate current, and CDL up to date, while submitting to random drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations. Perform physical labor tasks as assigned and adhere to the 5S foundations for lean production tools. Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds of force constantly
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to stoop
