Job Summary
Local HVAC delivery driver role operating company trucks to deliver products to customer sites and branch locations with safe loading/unloading, forklift handling, and occasional warehouse and front-counter support. Maintains DOT-compliant logs, performs pre/post vehicle checks, blocks/straps cargo, ensures accurate loading, and adheres to safety standards. Must have strong customer service, be able to perform heavy lifting, and be comfortable using MS Office/Excel and a warehouse management system (Mincron). Minimum 3+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; includes training, DOT testing, and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
- Working knowledge of commercial truck mechanics
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years
- DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check required
- DMV record cannot reflect more than 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within past 3 years
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use MS Office including Outlook & Excel, Mincron and a scanner
- Ability to multi-task and assist in warehouse/front counter/branch as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift
- High School diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
