Job Summary
Deliver and unload fresh produce at the Sioux City cross dock, checking orders for accuracy and inspecting product for damage. Operate a straight truck safely in varying weather conditions, communicating professionally with customers to address questions or concerns. Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly while lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently. Maintain accurate delivery records and pass background checks, including a DOT drug screen and MVR query. Work a rotating schedule starting at 3:30 AM with days off on Sundays, Tuesdays, and every other Saturday. Earn $25 per hour with access to a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Ability to work early morning hours (3:30 AM start)
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
