Job Summary
Deliver and unload fresh produce and food items using a straight truck, operating safely in varying weather conditions while adhering to all safety guidelines. Check orders for accuracy, inspect products for damage, and maintain accurate delivery records. Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience and address any questions or concerns. Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally. Work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM) on local routes in Council Bluffs, IA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
