Local Commercial Driver

Conduct complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment. Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes to service customers, read route sheets, and follow map directions. Perform manual and automatic controls to lift, load refuse, and operate compactors at disposal sites. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean areas around accidental spills. Complete daily vehicle condition reports, route sheets, and productivity sheets to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain vehicle cleanliness by cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body after each trip. Actively participate in the Company's ReSOP program and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
