Job Summary
Local Pick-up & Delivery / Box Truck Driver responsible for safely operating 24’, 26’, and 28’ bobtail trucks in the local region, performing pickups and deliveries at customer locations, and communicating with customers and dispatch. Must meet DOT medical requirements, maintain a clean driving record, and comply with reliability standards. Role may involve overtime after 8 hours, weekend/night availability, and handling inclement weather. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K with company match, PTO, holiday pay, and cell stipend. Training program for potential advancement to Class A Driver is available.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid DOT Medical Certification
- Clean driving record (no DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in past 3 years)
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and dispatch/managers
- Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes
- Ability to adapt to inclement weather and varying road conditions
- Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed
