Job Summary
Make safe, complete, and on-time local deliveries to customers while complying with DOT and FMCSR regulations. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring hazardous materials are properly secured and separated. Collect payments, document deliveries accurately, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to report any maintenance needs. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and increase product knowledge on an ongoing basis. Perform other duties as assigned, including maneuvering heavy objects up to 100 pounds. Work a 7:00 am start time with guaranteed 40-hour weeks regardless of delivery volume.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- A valid Class B commercial driver's license, with HAZMAT endorsement
- A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- The ability to maneuver heavy objects that can weigh up to 100 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- To carry out instructions with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment (preferred)
- Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience a plus
