Job Summary
Deliver local Route-based food service products on a daily-homed schedule from Grande Prairie, AB. Operate straight trucks or trailers on local routes, perform manual unloading of goods, hand-wheeling 600-1,000 cases per shift, and conduct routine pre/post-trip inspections. Build and maintain quality customer relationships through exceptional service, accurate record-keeping (delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets, incident reporting), and compliance with health and safety procedures. Schedule is Monday-Friday with 4 days x 10 hours (start between 3AM-6AM). The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude; requires a Class 1/AZ license, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and strong English communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1/AZ driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstract
- Must reside in Grande Prairie
- Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items up to 80 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous professional driving experience is preferred
