Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships while manually sorting, unloading, and hand-wheeling food products into locations, handling up to 600–1,000 cases per shift. Operate straight trucks or trailers safely across urban, inter-urban, and rural routes, conducting routine pre/post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, and incident reports. Perform product delivery verification at customer sites and maintain customer invoices in compliance with health and safety procedures. Work local routes ensuring guaranteed daily homecoming, with day shifts running Monday through Saturday between 3 AM and 7 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1/AZ driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstract
- Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
- Previous professional driving experience
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Goal oriented with a positive, can do attitude
- Punctuality
- Attention to detail
- Must be available for Day Shift Monday - Saturday
- Starting between 3AM - 7AM
- 5 Days x 8 Hours schedule
- Must be able to come home at the end of your shift
