Job Summary
Local CDL Driver responsible for safely operating a commercial truck, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/unloading and delivering cargo to designated locations, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction, while adhering to FMCSA/DOT regulations and maintaining proper documentation and communication with dispatch. Ability to work Monday–Friday, home every night, and participate in a benefits package that includes health, dental/vision, life insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and PTO. Requires strong safety awareness, ability to operate within hours-of-service rules, and capable of training others and working both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Valid Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle License
- Required: Clean motor vehicle record
- Required: CDL Hazardous Materials Endorsement
- Preferred: Certification as a Tier 1 CDL driver
- Required: Pass & maintain a DOT physical exam
