Job Summary
Secure loads using straps only and deliver building materials safely on local routes. Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork, handle customer product returns, and direct unloading when required. Maintain daily safety checklists, complete DOT inspections, and keep electronic logbooks and trip reports current. Communicate professionally with customers and report issues promptly. Operate flatbed and curtain-side trailers with no weekend hours, returning home every night. Earn daily overtime after eight hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 21 years of age
- At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Safe driving record
- Ability to properly secure loads
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
