Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A CDL vehicle (automatic day cab) and follow assigned routes between New Castle, DE, Middletown, NY, and Essex, MD to ensure on-time deliveries. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), and complete all required documentation accurately. Ensure proper loading, transport, and unloading of freight while maintaining compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies. Report maintenance or safety issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean and organized. Work Monday through Friday, day shift from 9 to 13 hours, returning home daily.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 3 years of Class A driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Steel-toe boots required
- Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT must be worn as required
