Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment are in proper working order. Safely operate a collection truck along designated routes, reading route sheets and servicing customers as assigned by dispatchers. Perform manual and automatic loading of refuse, operate compactors, and dispose of collected material at designated facilities. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean areas around accidental spills while adhering to safety standards. Complete daily vehicle condition reports, route sheets, and other required productivity documentation. Maintain adherence to all safety policies, ReSOP program participation, and company rules to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service delivery.
