Job Summary
Deliver fresh and frozen groceries on 53, 51, or 48 ft reefer trailers to supermarkets, distribution centers, and back hauls across the Hudson Valley, five boroughs, Long Island, and Pennsylvania. Perform multistop loads averaging 15 plus stops weekly, typically running two loads per day or one long load, while picking up return product at final stops. Operate automatic or manual daycabs that remain with the company for time off, adhering to Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday shifts with start times between 1am and 5am. Home daily after required training; new drivers must complete six months on the account before solo NYC routes. Requires three months of tractor-trailer experience with a trucking company.
Required Qualifications
- 3 months tractor-trailer experience with a trucking company
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for early morning shifts
