Job Summary
Load freight at the distribution center, transport goods to store locations, and unload upon arrival while maintaining safe driving standards. Safely load, deliver, and unload individual orders, record deliveries on a load manifest, and scan all packages. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, document deficiencies, and ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed, report scanner problems or truck damage immediately, and resolve customer service inquiries. Work Sunday through Thursday from 11pm to 7am with a consistent schedule and daily home time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B or A Driver's License
- Must have had valid license for a minimum of 2 years
- No major violations
- No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, and in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
- No more than one at-fault accident
- Must be at Least 21 Years of Age
- Pass Physical & Drug Screen
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms
- Hazmat Endorsement (or the ability to obtain in 90 days)
Desired Qualifications
- At least six months of truck driving experience
- Know how to perform daily routine pre-trip & post-trip inspection on trucks
