Job Summary
Load, deliver, and unload freight at the Grand Rapids Distribution Center for a dedicated Sunday–Thursday route with home daily availability. Safely operate a CDL B (or A) truck while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, scanning packages, and managing load manifests in compliance with DOT and OSHA guidelines. Report scanner issues, placard trucks, and address any vehicle or product damage immediately. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed on the dock or in the warehouse. Establish and maintain strong customer relations by resolving service inquiries and providing timely updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B or A Driver's License
- Must have had valid license for a minimum of 2 years
- No major violations
- No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, and in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
- No more than one at-fault accident
- Must be at Least 21 Years of Age
- Pass Physical & Drug Screen
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms
- Hazmat Endorsement (or the ability to obtain in 90 days)
Desired Qualifications
- At least six months of truck driving experience
- Know how to perform daily routine pre-trip & post-trip inspection on trucks
