Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo across regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report defects or accidents, and load, secure, and inspect cargo while following special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailers clean. Earn $1500-$1800 per week with additional pay for detention and breakdowns. Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL with one year of experience and pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
