Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to haul freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo across regional lanes from Argos to Bolingbrook and Fort Wayne. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report defects or violations, and load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat or temperature-sensitive handling procedures. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Conduct basic vehicle maintenance, keep the trailer clean, and ensure all DOT/FMCSA documentation is complete. Earn $1500-$1800 per week with daily or weekend home time, medical/dental/vision coverage, and paid vacation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of experience
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
