Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo across regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows while verifying bills of lading and collecting signatures. Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailers clean. Earn weekly pay ranging from $1350 to $1800 with additional compensation for detention and breakdowns. Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL with one year of experience and pass DOT physical requirements.
