Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles safely across intra-state and inter-state routes while adhering to all state, federal, and hazmat regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, load and unload freight, and ensure proper cargo securement. Record ELD, trip, and dispatch information using company-provided IT equipment and maintain strict communication with dispatch. Maintain a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, meet DOT medical standards, and complete required onboarding, training, and assessments. Work flexible AM/PM shifts Monday through Sunday in various environments, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Valid DOT physical
- Required endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Driving record reflecting no more than two moving violations in the past three years
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must complete company onboarding process, including drug screening, background check, MVR, and PSP review
- Successful completion of new-hire training, including assessments, driving test, trailer combination test, and forklift test
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must be available for Monday through Sunday shifts
- Must be available for AM/PM shifts
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, move materials, and reach
- Must maintain situational awareness
- Must be able to read manifests
- Must be able to interpret navigation
- Must be able to identify shipment labels accurately
- Must have regular and reliable attendance
