Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles safely across intra-state and inter-state routes, performing pickups and deliveries between service centers and meet-and-turn points. Execute pre- and post-trip inspections, sort, load, and unload freight while ensuring proper securement. Record ELD, VIR, trip, and dispatch information using company-provided IT equipment and maintain communication with dispatch per scheduling requirements. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, including traffic laws, hours of service, and hazmat transportation standards. This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, plus one year of tractor-trailer experience. Schedule varies Monday through Sunday with AM/PM shifts determined by operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Valid DOT physical
- Required endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Driving record reflecting no more than two moving violations in the past three years
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must complete company onboarding process, including drug screening, background check, MVR, and PSP review
- Successful completion of new-hire training, including assessments, driving test, trailer combination test, and forklift test
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must be available for Days: Monday through Sunday
- Must be available for AM/PM shifts
