Job Summary
Drop and hook freight from a Pueblo distribution center with a dedicated dry van, running approximately 2,000 miles per week across intra-Colorado routes. Perform shuttle and turn work with two daily stops, including some live unload duties, while ensuring home time every night. Work both day and night shifts, with a schedule requiring a minimum of five days per week including weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months
- Current DOT medical card
- No endorsements required for this position
- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years
- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years
- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification
- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months
- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years
- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever
- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP
- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP
- No multiple DUI/DWIs
- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions
- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed
- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years
- Must live within 40 miles of ZIP 81001 (Pueblo, CO)
- Weekend work required
- Holidays worked to support the customer's needs
- Road test and safety review required on select applications
