Job Summary
Conduct dedicated local grocery delivery across Arizona on multi-stop routes using a dry van, performing live unload, drop and hook, load assist, and unload assist operations. Operate a manual pallet jack to manually unload freight at each stop, requiring significant physical activity involving walking, standing, or sitting for ten hours or more daily. Manage approximately 1,000 miles per week with both day and night shifts, including weekend work and holiday coverage as needed. Return home every night with two consecutive days off each week. This solo account requires one year of verifiable Class A driving experience and live on-site orientation.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months
- Current DOT medical card
- No endorsements required for this position
- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years
- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years
- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification
- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months
- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years
- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever
- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP
- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP
- No multiple DUI/DWIs
- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions
- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed
- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years
- Must live within 40 miles of ZIP 85043 or 85353 (Phoenix / Tolleson, AZ)
- Weekend work required
- Holidays: based on customer needs
