Job Summary
Conduct dedicated night grocery freight operations out of Harrisonville, MO, running reefer and dry trailers with live unloads, drop and hook, and backhauls. Drive solo or team loads averaging 1,100 to 1,400 miles weekly, ensuring NO TOUCH freight handling. Operate a five-day work week built around a 34-hour reset, including weekends and all holidays. Maintain a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and clean driving record while meeting safety performance requirements for bonuses. Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months
- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)
- No endorsements required for this position
- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years
- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years
- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification
- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months
- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years
- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever
- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP
- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP
- No multiple DUI/DWIs
- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions
- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed
- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years
- Must live within 50 miles of ZIP 64701 (Harrisonville, MO)
- Must be able to live with nights and holidays
- Weekend work required
