Job Summary
Local CDL A Delivery Driver operating company vehicle to transfer freight to/from customer locations and terminals. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading/unloading freight (manually or with mechanical aid), ensuring shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection, and completing required government/company paperwork. Typical shift is Monday–Friday starting around 10am; compensation is $36/hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain, 1 year of driving experience, and maintaining safety and customer-service standards. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/life insurance and 401(k); regular full-time employment eligibility after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
