Job Summary
Local CDL-A dedicated route truck driver for refrigerated freight with home daily time. Responsibilities include transporting refrigerated freight with no-touch loads, completing 1-3 routes per day and 1-3 stops per trip, and adhering to a rotating schedule (6 days on with a 34-hour restart, then 5 days on with 2 days off). Training includes 1 day of in-classroom training with a $50 stipend and 2-3 days of ride-along training at $100 per day. Night shifts start between 8 PM and 11 PM, with higher freight volumes midweek to Saturday. Home daily with rare overnight stays. Compensation includes average weekly pay of $1,200 and annual pay potential up to $70,000, with experience-based pay scales across different months of service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 3 months of class A experience
- Ability to meet company and DOT safety standards
- Strong work ethic and ability to work a rotating schedule
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends
