Job Summary
Assist people with permanent and significant disability to apply for NDIS supports and collaborate on goal development. Connect participants to local community services while helping them navigate and optimize engagement with the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Improve community knowledge of the NDIS by creating new opportunities to link individuals with available support. Meet identified contractual KPIs while building relationships grounded in empathy and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated relevant experience and/or lived experience
- Experience in planning with people to achieve collaborative outcomes
- Knowledge of the local community and the available options for social & economic participation for people with disability
- Demonstrated computer skills including capability with Microsoft Office 365
- Currently hold or able to hold a Working with Children and or a Vulnerable People Check
