Job Summary
Fluid Systems Engineer role in Bristol focused on the design and integration of fluid systems for nuclear plant projects (Nuclear Island buildings). Responsibilities include delivering system design and documentation, creating and reviewing P&IDs, performing thermal-hydraulic calculations, sizing pumps and pipes, calculating pressure relief devices, evaluating system safety features, and maintaining engineering process data and interfaces with Control & Instrumentation. The role requires collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, participation in governance and QA processes, and coordination with suppliers to support design updates and project reviews.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process or Nuclear Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (BPSS as a minimum)
