Job Summary
Lobby Manager responsible for leading daily lobby operations and a team of Guest Specialists to deliver an exceptional visitor experience. Oversees supervision coverage during public hours, coaches staff to engage visitors proactively, manages recruitment/onboarding and performance development, and ensures safe, efficient lobby processes and ticketing systemuse. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and five+ years of customer service experience with supervisory responsibilities; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft programs and Google Workspace; experience with cash-handling and basic operational management; and capability to identify improvements to lobby procedures while maintaining alignment with museum policies and union/HR guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- five or more years customer service experience
- experience supervising staff
- cash-handling and operational management experience preferred
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- ability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
