Job Summary
Manage bar/lounge daily shift operations, supervise staff, and implement beverage policies while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws. Control inventory through perpetual inventory, bar pars, and portion control, and monitor adherence to liquor control procedures. Assist with menu planning, promotions, and developing food standards, then train staff on operational expectations and corrective action plans. Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives, and respond effectively to guest problems and complaints. Review comment cards and satisfaction results to drive continuous improvement and maintain budgeted goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
