Job Summary
Mix and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, while adhering to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner by taking orders, offering suggestions, and providing personalized experiences. Ensure drinks are visually appealing using appropriate garnishes and glassware, while maintaining a clean, organized bar area and managing beverage inventory. Process payment transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and verify customer age to comply with relevant laws. Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and active listening skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
- Verify customer age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
