Job Summary
Clean public space areas including restrooms, lobbies, meeting rooms, ballrooms, guest corridors, restaurants, back of the house, and exterior areas according to established procedures. Empty wastebaskets, ash urns, and transport trash to disposal areas. Change light bulbs, clean and maintain cleaning equipment, and enter, respond to, and close maintenance system work orders. Report maintenance problems immediately, follow chemical procedures, and assist Housekeeping areas with room cleaning and linen stripping as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to safety, lost and found, and energy conservation guidelines. Work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak basic English
- Good communication skills
- Ability to speak and hear
- Close and distance vision
- Frequent sitting with some walking and standing
- Frequently lifts/carries up to 5lbs
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Identify and distinguish colors
- Stand for long periods of time
- Walk extended distances
- Lift/carry 6-25 lbs
- Lift/carry 26-50 lbs
- Reach hands and arms in any direction
- Kneel and/or stoop repeatedly
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Wet or humid conditions
- Near moving or mechanical parts
- On high precarious places
- With fumes or airborne particles
- Near toxic or caustic chemicals
- Near risk of electrical shock
- Near loud noises
- In areas of strong vibration
- Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as business dictates
