Job Summary

Loan Support Specialist provides essential administrative and documentation support to maintain efficient loan flow and timely closings. Responsibilities include ordering third-party services (appraisals, title commitments, tax certificates, flood certifications/determinations) based on Processor direction, confirming receipt and turnaround times, proactively following up with vendors and internal stakeholders, routing completed documents to the Processor for review, and uploading to the loan file. The role tracks outstanding orders, manages re-orders or revisions, and escalates delays or discrepancies to minimize closing impacts. Key focus areas are cycle time management, clear updates to vendors/processors/originators, and ensuring accuracy of orders and documentation (property details, borrower information, loan identifiers). Requires experience in mortgage operations, vendor management, strong organizational skills, proactive follow-up, attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in mortgage operations or related role
