Job Summary
Process loan documents, supporting documents, and renewals for all lending officers on the Banks loan processor system, ensuring accuracy prior to loan closing. Upload and input new, renewed, extended, and paid-off loans while maintaining complete file records. Obtain credit bureau reports as requested and stay current with LaserPro software updates to serve as the primary information source for staff. Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and co-workers, assisting with difficult inquiries and special projects as assigned. Prepare and maintain reports, sort files, and contribute to department goal implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years bank customer, mortgage, or commercial loan processing/servicing experience
- equivalent education in bank credit processing/servicing procedures and policies
- Associate degree in Finance
- specific technical school or AIB courses in commercial lending, consumer credit, real estate lending and/or licensing banking operations
- equivalent experience to technical school or AIB courses
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to interact both in-person and over the telephone with customers and co-workers
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers and co-workers
- positive professional appearance
- thorough knowledge of the LaserPro system
- knowledge of the system's capabilities and its application in the Bank's lending environment
