Job Summary
Make outbound calls to customers submitting loan applications through the online portal, guiding them through the application process. Verify application details, review credit, and make sound loan underwriting decisions to offer the best options. Respond to customer questions regarding collateral, approval qualifications, and renewal policies. Accurately document application notes and outcomes in the loan origination system to maintain clear records. Partner with branches when necessary to deliver first-in-class customer service. Requires a high school diploma or GED, lending experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Full-time role with monthly bonus incentives and benefits including 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience within the loan industry
- Business knowledge
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment with a high volume of outbound calls
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn internal systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Competitive drive and motivation to hit monthly performance and bonus incentives
- Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds
- Occasional travel may be required
