Job Summary
Process loan payments, advances, transfers, and payoffs for consumer, commercial, and real estate portfolios. Maintain loan records, collateral files, insurance documentation, and customer statements while monitoring coverage for expired policies. Prepare and distribute loan reports, notices, and correspondence; respond to servicing inquiries and refer customers for additional products. Support collection efforts on delinquent accounts and maintain archived files. Manage daily and monthly reports to ensure record accuracy and compliance with bank policies. Requires 7+ years of banking regulatory or compliance experience and proficiency with Navigator and LaserPro. This in-office role supports Monterey County Bank's mission to shape community futures through operational excellence and modernization.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of small business or commercial loan administration experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience
- detail oriented
- possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan origination system
- Knowledge of Navigator
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- This is an in-office position
- 7+ years of experience with increasing responsibility working for a regulatory agency examining banks, in a bank within the audit, compliance or legal departments, as a management consultant in the field of banking compliance or other equivalent non-banking position providing advice and/or guidance on banking regulations
- Experience at commercial banking institution highly preferred
